Now showing: The theater that likes to ‘sparkle’ is growing

The Prospector is a nonprofit providing competitive employment for people with disabilities through operation of a movie theater and online popcorn store. As their business is rapidly growing, they are preparing to open a factory for their gourmet Prospector Popcorn. The new 4,906-square-foot building includes a kitchen, warehouse, offices, and related production space. That compares to the current 325-square-foot kitchen housed in the theater now. The new building is due to open in the early fall.
