The Pan-Mass Challenge, a two-day charity bike ride that allows its 6,500-strong bicyclists to tackle routes of different lengths — the longest being 186 miles — recently announced that it has raised another $78 million for cancer research, treatment and patient care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

MLA: Hotel Managers Volunteer to Make Wigs

On behalf of the Massachusetts Lodging Association, Hollywood secured media coverage spotlighting local Marriott hotels and the Westin Copley for their partnership with The Magic Yarn Project. Fifty-five hotel volunteers created character-inspired yarn wigs to be donated to children receiving treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Media coverage highlights included Boston 25 (WFXT-TV), CBS Boston (WBZ-TV), and 7 News (WHDH-TV).
