Pan-Mass Challenge Names Belle Nace as Fundraising Coordinator

The Pan-Mass Challenge has appointed longtime participant and volunteer Belle Nace as its new Fundraising Coordinator, where she will support year-round fundraising, donor engagement, and rider and event initiatives. Nace previously served as a fundraising intern with the PMC and brings firsthand experience with the organization’s mission, along with a background in marketing and a deep personal connection to its cancer research and patient care efforts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Local company aims to make robotics more approachable as a career choice and tool

Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is a Boston-based robotics company founded in 2015 by the Piaggio Group. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they invited students from Dorchester’s Holland High School of Technology and young staff from the nonprofit bookstore More Than Words for an open house event on December 12th. PFF employees showcased their cargo-carrying robots and demonstrated what a career in STEM might look like. Bay State Banner’s story shined a light on PFF’s investment in fostering innovative young minds, and as a valuable community partner.
