Kaon Interactive, provider of 3D marketing and sales applications for global B2B brands, turned to Hollywood Agency to make national visibility a “reality” for its virtual and augmented reality applications.
Hollywood compiled a plan that would help lift Kaon into the spotlight. Using Kaon CEO and president Gavin Finn as media spokesperson, the strategy included elevating visibility via media events, strategic partnerships and targeted media and analyst relations outreach.
An aggressive media relations campaign delivered a steady stream of industry and national press coverage, increasing Kaon’s visibility. Total media impressions were more than 32 million and included highlights such as Entrepreneur, Brand Quarterly and VentureFizz. The Entrepreneur article remains Kaon’s highest-impact piece of coverage in terms of awareness, engagement and SEO to date.
The campaign contributed to a successful sales boost as well. Kaon saw a 21 percent increase in revenue and a 122 percent increase in average weekly users. The growth included nearly a dozen new customers, including tech giants such as Lenovo, Ricoh and Akamai.
In a world where the ROI of PR is being questioned, Hollywood delivered a bold reality check – increased visibility and share-of-voice that resulted in measurable sales growth.
