SWANSEA, Mass. (WJAR) — For Trish Sheehan’s entire life, it has been pedaling to the metal.
For over 20 years, the Swansea mom and wife has made biking a part of her life.
She’s continued to take part in the annual Pan-Mass Challenge, a bike-a-thon where thousands of riders come together and ride through Massachusetts and every penny raised goes towards cancer research for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
“Life is short, and really do the things that you want to do and the things that make you happy,” said Sheehan as she reflects on why she loves to ride for the Pan-Mass Challenge. “My aunt Alice had died when I was in high school, and then I had a friend who had not been diagnosed with breast cancer in a timely manner, and she passed away in her thirties.”
